The mind is a canvass, the details of which are the remnants of a cycle that is called living. Is one color better than the other? In life each circumstance sends forth a wash of color, or many colors. These colors saturate the mind. As the 'canvass mind' becomes heavy with color it seems to automatically wring itself, shedding the excess saturation, leaving behind an intricate pattern which is unique and constantly changing with each new completion of the cycle of saturation and wringing. This 'painting' is a product of living, and is familiar only to the holder of the mind, this 'painting' is personality.

I suppose then, addressing the same metaphore, that to increase one's saturation point would only be possible by embracing the willingness to embark on a journy to live life from this day forward with an open mind. So I suppose my question would be this... When we struggle with the confines of the canvas we were presented upon birth, how are we to avoid deep, lasting, aching brought by the wringing? I suppose though, perhaps that's all part of the point that you are making... I sometimes just wish that only the paint was truly the issue... that we could simply wipe the excess from the canvas and avoid the wringing part... Sometimes I feel like my canvas can only take so much... what happens then?

No snowflake is the same, yet the similarity is undeniable. If the mind is a painting then there are surely portions of the art that we dislike, or seemingly incomplete. Like crystals that continue to form in an ideal environment, the patterns develop and overlap each-other. Soon what has been painted is covered by new paint, new patterns form. The common urge is to be unique. Everyone desires to be different yet attractive. Are humans any better than snowflakes? They follow the same patterns. Fibonacci would be proud... 1,2,3,5,8,13.., but really what other option do we have if the desire to be unique is to be the same as everyone else. Shall we decide against being unique? What will we be then? Should we attempt to be the same? The only way that could ever happen is if everything that is true was revealed unquestionably. In the meantime, I'll do it my way... eVolution of conciousness, what will you do with eternity?
